Aunt Mimi came to visit and we had a great time. On Saturday, we took Morgan to a Hibachi Grill for the first time. Although she wasn't sure of the flames, she really enjoyed the food. That afternoon we went to the pool and the weather was beautiful (not too hot, no rain, and low humidity). Saturday night Brian and I were able to go on a date (Thanks Mimi!). Morgan ended up getting a fever on Sunday so we stayed low, but she still had a ton of energy (I have no idea where she finds it). Peppy even came to visit that evening to say hi.
Aunt Mimi left this morning - we sure will miss her and we had a great time!
Even though Morgan is just one - she is all two. She is testing us all the time and reminds us constantly that 'she' is in charge (that is what she thinks!). She loves puzzles - B
rian and I bought three new ones this week as we get tired of playing with the same puzzle
s over and over again. Books are also a favorite activity - she loves Brown Bear, Curious George and the Bunny, and Ten Tiny Fairies. Morgan starts 'mommy and me' gymnastics classes next month and will also be transiting from her babysitter to an early education center. It will be a busy month for us, but her new school is definitely for the best.
