Finally, the weather has cooled enough where we can enjoy time outdoors after work and during the day. We have visited the playground, played in the backyard, had a dinner picnic at the park with the family, went pumpkin hunting, painted pumpkins, and went to the Zoo. Plenty of pics can't be found here. Morgan is doing great at school. She has become so independent in the last few weeks. It seems like she is pushing Brian out the door when he drops her off in the morning. Occasionally, she doesn't even want to leave when I pick her up! We know she spends a lot of time in the 'messy room' or painting because she comes home with pictures all the time (we are running out of space) and paint all over her clothes. We go through a TON of spray and wash. Morgan also comes home singing new songs. She loves 'Ring around the Rosy', the 'Wheel on the Bus', and 'Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed' (as taught by Aunt Mimi).
Morgan and I are heading to visit family this week and Morgan is counting down the days to being able to ride in the airplane, see her grandparents and Aunt, and experience some winter weather!. Lately we have been reminded of the importance of seeing and spending time with family - no matter how far apart they are.
BTW - Happy Birthday Christy! (we'll get another B day video posted soon - 'Happy Birthday' is another favorite song of Morgan)
