It's Potty Time!

It's Potty Time!

This weekend Morgan went to the bathroom twice in her own potty! Brian and I are thrilled. She even tinkled on herself a few times as soon as we took her off her potty! We know we have a long way to go as she is only 17 months, but what a fantastic start!!!

The happy news of potty training was overshadowed by the disappearance of Huddle. Huddle is our family cat who I have had for almost 7 years. He decided to take off late Thursday night or Friday (we have no idea how he got out or when, but because we had Jackson Thursday night and Friday afternoon, he probably took the opportunity to escape during the chaos of having two toddlers in the house!). We spent late Friday night searching the neighborhood, but did not find him. I had a difficult time sleeping that night as I was worried, but we found him the next morning hanging out down the street! We promptly took him to the vet to update him on all of his shots and he was not happy the rest of the day. Thankfully he is fine, but we will definitely be more careful making sure we don't leave the door open for any length of time!

Morgan's cousin Jackson visited us on Thursday night. This is a picture of them peeking at the outside world. Jackson is only 9 months older than Morgan...but he sure is a lot taller than she is!
