Matthew - One year pics

We had Matthew's one year pics today - the photographer didn't realize the camera wasn't working until we had finished the shots of Matty by himself and the ones of them together. If you have ever been with a child getting their picture taken, you know that you have a very limited window of taking photographs. With that said...the photo session was a bust. We tried photoshoping the pics, but when they were printed the kids looked like they were sunburned (all pink). I have a link to them below (I think there are more of Morgan even though we went to get Matthew's picture taken) --- we will try this again in a couple of weeks....

Matthew is growing up so fast. He started walking a week ago and is slowly getting the hang of it. He is getting more and more confident every day. I am sure that in a few weeks he will be toddling all around the house. He will say a few words (my favorite is MaMa) such as more, light, and Dada. Matthew loves to eat - even though he is only in the 25 percentile for weight. I think he is always hungry!

Morgan is doing great as well and is ALL girl. She loves to try on dresses to watch them spin, her favorite color is pink, and she loves to have her piggies (toe nails) painted. I never considered myself a girlie girl, but I think I definitely have one on my hands. Even though I think she is all girl, she isn't afraid of getting dirty and can keep up with the boys. She started gymnastics a couple of months ago and seems to love it.

More updates to come :) Thanks for checking in on us!

Oh my word! I would be so sad about the pictures!! AARRHH!! Don't they know that you only have about 5 minutes to get them in!?!? At least you seem to have a good grip on it. Good job on getting it rescheduled!
Good luck! He's a cutie!! I'm sure you couldn't get a bad picture!

I meant to tell you, too that I have Stellan's little update box on my blog, too, but it's a little farther down. I need to up it! And isn't that an inspirational story? I know they still need our prayers and are in the thick of things, but you can really see God in action. Awesome.
