Easter Fun

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter celebration!

We started the celebrations last week and I don't even know where to start. The kids have had fun hunting for Easter eggs at a nearby park (and then subsequently hunting eggs all week in our living room - they are everywhere!), dying Easter eggs, making resurrection cookies, and going to Church.

Quite the pair!

Tonight before we went to bed, we made resurrection cookies with the kids. My close friend Amy brought these to my attention a few years ago, but the kids were still young. If you would like a play by play, you can see how they are made here. BTW, She has a great blog - and a great family so I highly recommend adding her to your google reader. Our church included it this year as a great way to teach young kids the true meaning of Easter so we decided to try it.

Tomorrow morning the kids will open the tomb to see what they discover. The rest of the day will be filled with joy, love, pancakes, hunting more Easter eggs, and Tennis!

Happy Easter everyone!
