Hmmmm....what is he thinking?

I thought this pic deserved a post of its own....

Such a cute face - I wonder what he is thinking? If I had to bet, I bet it is something mischievous!

Easter Fun

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter celebration!

We started the celebrations last week and I don't even know where to start. The kids have had fun hunting for Easter eggs at a nearby park (and then subsequently hunting eggs all week in our living room - they are everywhere!), dying Easter eggs, making resurrection cookies, and going to Church.

Quite the pair!

Tonight before we went to bed, we made resurrection cookies with the kids. My close friend Amy brought these to my attention a few years ago, but the kids were still young. If you would like a play by play, you can see how they are made here. BTW, She has a great blog - and a great family so I highly recommend adding her to your google reader. Our church included it this year as a great way to teach young kids the true meaning of Easter so we decided to try it.

Tomorrow morning the kids will open the tomb to see what they discover. The rest of the day will be filled with joy, love, pancakes, hunting more Easter eggs, and Tennis!

Happy Easter everyone!

Happy Easter 2011!

Wishing you many Easter Blessings!

Happy Birthday Brian

Today - Brian is 36. Yes, he is one step closer to 40. Now I am starting to feel old!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband, best friend, and most amazing father. I love you. The kids love you. Your family loves you. Even though growing old sucks, I don't know who I would rather spend these years with. So here is to 40 more!

Love you always!

How does your garden grow?

Brian and I have been excited about growing a garden this year as soon as we moved into this house last June (we finally have a yard big enough!).

Now that Spring is here, we decided to finally get going on this project and we completed it last night. Hopefully in about 50-60 days, we will have tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, squash, snap peas, and spinach!

Brian hauling dirt - we didn't have a wheel barrow but thankfully our wagon did the trick

We planted a mixture of seeds and plants that have already developed. Hopefully, we did everything right! I guess we will see :)

Happy Birthday Matty Matty Moo!

Last month Matthew turned 3! I can't believe our 'baby' is now 3!

We had a jammed pack weekend with friends, family, and of course a birthday party. We went to a nearby sports complex and let the kids jump their pretty little hearts out!

Thanks everyone that joined us in this special day!
